well this isn't my work but eh they are pretty good in my opinion (much better than me), though my best friend did write them, lots of poems on her sites, be warned though the last one is kind of morbid

guess i lost my muse
made me become a mute
no way now to express myself
must be getting harder to hide the pain
you can probably see it in my eyes
words no longer are a shield
its like im lost in a field
a field full of thorns
leaving so many visible scars
least i can look up to the stars
